Day 1: Cochin Arrival - Palakkad (160kms/4hrs)

On arrival at Cochin Airport our Tour Executive welcomes you and assists you, further drive to the lovely traditional homestay at Palakkad. You will be given a traditional welcome by the host and shown around the property. The day is free for your own activities. Day 2: Palakkad

In Kerala homestay post breakfast there are optional activities like visit to the famous Parambikulam National Park, local village visits by bullock cart, cycling experience, etc. Overnight stay at Kandath Tharavad

Day 3: Palakkad

After breakfast today you will have various options like visiting the traditional potters and weavers colony, having Ayurvedic massage treatment, attending cooking demonstration classes, etc. Overnight stay at Homestays in Kerala which is Kandath Tharavad.

Day 4: Palakkad -Cochin (160kms/4hrs)

Post breakfast drive to the lovely heritage town of Cochin in Kerala Homestay - referred as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Check into your hotel. Day free to watch around the surroundings and. Overnight stay at Walton's Homestay

Day 5: Cochin

Post breakfast proceed for a half day sightseeing tour with a local guide - visit the famous Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church where Vasco De Gama was first buried, Santa Cruz Basilica and the Chinese Fishing Nets in Fort Cochin at Kerala Homestay. Then explore the Jew town and the spice market at Mattancherry where you will have the opportunity to do a variety of shopping. Evening visit the Greenix cultural village Museum and watch the Cultural show (a fusions of seven art forms in Kerala including Kathakali and Kalaripayattu). Day 6: Cochin -Kothamangalam (60kms/2hrs)

Post breakfast drive to another lovely homestay located in Kothamangalam. Enroute if interested you can visit the Kodanad Elephant Training Camp where you can enjoy elephant ride and watch bathing the elephants in river. Proceed to Kothamangalam and check into the plantation Homestay. Relax and day free to watch around the plantations and you will served with delicious homely meals. Overnight stay at Mundackal Homestay

Day 7: Kothamangalam - Pala (80kms/2hrs)

Early morning drive to Thatekkad bird sanctuary where around 270 species of migratory and local birds can be found. Your guide will attract these birds making different sound and explain each of them clearly to you. Back to the homestay and have a late breakfast. Later drive towards Pala and check into the Homestay there. Later visit the Vanilla Farm and the rubber estate of the host to watch the tapping of rubber and processing of latex. You may also do fishing in the pond using traditional method. Overnight stay at Ann's Homestay Kerala.

Day 8: Pala

Post breakfast you can do the local sightseeing on this day. Visit the local artisans like traditional Kavani (cloth) weaver, bell metal worker and potter. Then visit Poonjar Palace, millennium old temples, churches, attend cooking demonstration class, do trekking, have ayurvedic massage, etc in Kerala Homestay. Overnight at Ann's Homestays in Kerala

Day 9: Pala - Alleppey (120kms/3hrs)

Have breakfast and drive to the lovely backwater destination called Alleppey to embark a traditional houseboat at 12:30PM. During the cruise you can stop to visit ancient temples, churches and can watch the day to day life of the local people who live close to these canals. Your crew will look after you and shall serve you with delicious Kerala food on board. In the evening by 6pm the boat will be anchored in a village where you can go for walk and mingle with the local people. Overnight stay at Air-conditioned Deluxe Houseboat (Kindly note that air-condition in the houseboat will be switched on from 9pm to 6am only) in Homestays in Kerala.

Day 10: Alleppey - Cochin Departure (70kms/2hrs)

Post breakfast disembark from the houseboat at 9.30am, from where you will be picked by our driver and as per your departure schedule you will be transferred to Cochin Airport to catch your flight back home
